WickDrain® is a pre-manufactured vertical band drain system consisting of a heavy-duty, extruded HDPE geospacer wrapped in bidim® geotextile. It provides a controlled path for pore water to escape from soft soils, accelerating consolidation and improving stability in ground improvement applications.
Installed in compressible soils to speed up the release of pore water, reducing the time required for the ground to stabilise and support construction loads.
Used beneath roadways and embankments to control pore water pressures and reduce long-term settlement.
