Sealmac® is a continuous filament, nonwoven needle-punched polyester geotextile used in engineered systems for pavement rehabilitation and water containment.
In road applications, Sealmac® provides sealing and stress-relief within distressed pavements and supports the upgrading of low-volume gravel roads without importing additional base material. For dam lining applications, Sealmac® is saturated with elastomeric bitumen to form an impermeable membrane for farm and municipal water storage.
Used as a bitumen-saturated interlayer within distressed asphalt pavements to provide sealing and stress relief prior to resurfacing.
Forms an impermeable membrane when saturated with elastomeric bitumen for farm dams, oxidation ponds, and selected municipal water storage applications.
